Actually, who hasn't eaten snow at least once in their lives? When its new fallen snow, it's as ok as it will ever be. Or maybe the Boston and Chicago snows are clean when they first fall. I'm not sure about Beijing.

I grew up with snow, so i'm used to the pleasure of hearing that school is closed because of snow :-)

Actually, there should also be a lesson around driving in snow, and the fun that is had when hundreds of thousands of people whose driving experience is low start driving on a slippery surface.

I'm used to cities having 6" of snowfall after January 1, but Beijing doesn't seem to get much snow. And I guess as a result, there's no need for dialogue around snowplows, shovels and the ever present snowblower.  Actually, I guess there is, but Chinese people don't seem to use them.

Excellent.  bespoke clothing lesson. Now we just need to know how to tell a good quality suit from a bad quality suit (other than the price).
