May 19, 2008 at 12:11 PMDidn't realize that the word was so important. It would be nice if Qing Wen linked lessons (if there are any) So people could see more examples, also if there could be an English translation, and the examples of the wrong way to say it, especially for the lesson.

May 14, 2008 at 8:57 AMThanks Misterjess, I just think it's strange how I can type it but not in a Chinese-english Dictionary. This is a great website (if you have WIndows) for setting up Chinese writing, I think CPod has some info as well. http://newton.uor.edu/Departments&Programs/AsianStudiesDept/Language/chinese_write.htm

May 12, 2008 at 9:56 PMsorry the pop up pinyin is correct it's the English that's wrong. This doesn't bother me much, especially as 一二三 are the easiest characters to learn.

May 20, 2008 at 10:26 PMin the lesson 我要 (Wo3Yao4) is used for I want... in the expansion, there's 不想 (Bu4Xiang3) for I don't want... My writing Chinese book says 要 is 'to want' and 想 is 'to think' I think CPOD has used 想 for I wish, so after a bit of a ramble, I want to know, if 要 and 想 are some what interchangeable within certain sentences. (Does this make any sense?)
