Butterfly29, you should listen to a Dear Amber from a few weeks ago where they explain upside down characters! I can't remember which one it was though.

My dad used to make us clean the entire house, and I mean *clean*. Then he used to wander around with incense, which used to smell so strong that I had to hide under the bedcovers. Unfortunately, I always used to find CNY such an alien festival that I never really enjoyed it as a child.

The banter has reached a level where 连我都觉得 it is now verging on self-parody... but it is funny, so you lot had better continue!

Hmm, I thought a lot of maths was taught using English? The advantage of maths is that it pretty much is its own language. Plus, once you get to degree level, surely most of it is English? I can't see technical terms being translated.

Guinness isn't an aphrodisiac when being spewed into your toilet/kitchen/bathroom (and guess who the lucky person is that has to clear it all up?) Guinness and chocolate is a good combination. Especially if it's a Cadbury's Flake or Twirl.

Auntie68, I think someone told me once that Poh Chai was filled with carcinogens or mercury or something! Maybe someone was trying to scare me (like my brother when we were little...) I didn't know Poh Chai was an anti-diarrhoea medicine, I just thought it was supposed to be good for stomach aches. Didn't work for me though.
