64 podcasts a week? You'd have to be pretty keen to listen to them all! I swear that if I eat something when I'm not hungry, it just makes me hungry. It's very odd.

I always think Amber must love Monday mornings when she has mountains of questions to answer... Thank you Amber!

Are scams particularly rife then? I didn't think there was much of a problem with that in China.

I shall consider a trip to rural China as being character-building then... It's bad enough when people talk to you even when there's a door between you!

So do you say 老太太 or something else? Aunty? We call them Aunties and Uncles in Singapore. But only if they're really old.

We Brits don't get naked together, unless you're a rugby player. Actually, I don't think boys have such a problem, because they had to share showers after sports lessons, but the girls never had to. We just smelled instead. I do find that the more expensive a gym/health club is, the more likely the changing rooms seem to encourage nakedness. Our municipal pool has many individual cubicles for changing, but the fairly posh gym has about 3. When I was in Australia, I was aghast at having to get changed for the pool without any cubicles! I think I found one somewhere, but there were lots of old ladies getting naked happily when I got back, and got told off for being a prude! I find it surprising that China is so open about nudity, because Singapore is completely the opposite (it seems). What about the toilets then? I heard a rumour lots of them don't usually have doors! And we Brits aren't culturally part of Europe :p

Apparently, I'm 61% nerd. Hmm...

I used to have discussions with my housemate as to which was worse: to be a geek or a nerd. He thought that a nerd was someone who was really keen on their specialist subject and had no social skills, whereas a geek did have social skills. Also, he claimed that there was an element of laziness involved - a geek was naturally clever and didn't actually do that much work, whereas a nerd would be working all the time! (I personally thought there was no difference, so there you go.)
