@toianw

By all means, take advantage of the offer for yourself!

Purchasing an e-voucher is, in effect, no different to subscribing in the conventional way - it just offers a nicer way to present the subscription as a gift.

The 20% off deal is only available through the e-voucher page (all Premium and Basic ChinesePod and Praxis e-vouchers), however.

Hope that clarifies matters for you!

@xueny

As long as the credit has been added to your account before the voucher's expiry, then it's fine; you can decide on how to spend your credits later!

@walidshaari @ancalagon

I am able to confirm that we can create special one-month Executive e-vouchers for you. Please email support@praxislanguage.com and we can do so right away
(you may also wish to CC me: sarah.edson@praxislanguage.com).

@ancalagon @paulinurus

The ChinesePod voucher credits can be used towards a ChinesePod subscription of any type, as long as their monetary value covers it. In this way, it is quite flexible, yes.

The current vouchers expire at the end of 2011, so you have some time to play with!

@ancalagon

As long as the voucher is valid still (they do expire after a year or so), then you can redeem it at any point.

The vouchers work by adding credit to the recipient's account, so a voucher can be redeemed and a subscription can then be bought with it at any point.

With regard to the Executive question, I will speak to the Support Team and get back to you directly tomorrow, as soon as we're back in the office. The vouchers are for six months and upwards, but we should be able to sort something out for you.

As we mentioned, you can get 20% off all Premium & Basic e-vouchers (for ChinesePod and other Praxis languages). Until December 31st only.

Details are here: http://chinesepod.com/voucher-sale

Happy New Year, everyone (I'm a tad over-excited, but that's probably pretty clear from the podcast)!!

@Zhumia, I believe Charles is most comfortable using English or Shanghaihua, but he can also speak Mandarin.

Charles is a friend of a few of us in the ChinesePod office, so it's great to see him making a success of this venture, especially considering all the hard work that was involved at the start.

Oh, and to anyone in Shanghai who might be considering a visit to Voila!, I can personally recommend the gelato and homemade hummous!

Another helpful Qing Wen, thank you! I am still getting used to using 着, so the discussion of 拿着 was useful.

I must add, listening to Qing Wens these days is like overhearing a (quite typical!) lunchtime conversation in the office. Only I learn a bit more Chinese. I think all language learning should be like that!

@Doodlemonster - To echo Jason, thanks for your support! I feel lucky to be part of the ChinesePod team  :-)

@Babardwan - Recording News & Features was fun. I cannot imagine how many hours of laughter must have been recorded over the years at ChinesePod, then edited out for purposes of professionalism!

I'd also really like to listen to the archived Saturday Show with Jason, so will help look into this today...

@roderick1234

Just to confirm, the Executive Plan is open to every type of learner, and our teachers will guide subscribers through lessons of any subject.

Do contact us for a demo lesson if you are considering the subscription. It should give you a better understanding of exactly how it all works.

(Demo requests can be submitted at the bottom of this page: http://chinesepod.com/executive_plan.)
