what's the main difference in meaning or usage between 无聊 and 没意思?

Just a small technical observation about the downloadable files for this lesson.

The full lesson in both formats gives the lesson number as C1253, but the dialogue, review and PDF files are all named C1252.

yes, there is an error in the PDF file

the pinyin in the first line includes the English word 'really', which seems to be out of place

Maybe not all interviewees are up to doing it in Mandarin.

But it would be nice when possible...

The one question I really want to know about 大便咖啡 is:

How the hell did the first people to try it ever think to do so?

I"m with Connie on this one: 不敢

The comments policy requires ppl to provide English translations with any Chinese written in NEWBIE and ELEMENTARY lesson discussion posts.

It doesn't say anything about Upper-Intermediate lesson discussions

Sorry to see you go like this Pete.

For me it seems sudden, but maybe you have been thinking about it for some time.

I was hoping to engage with you more as I advanced with my Mandarin studies.

I really enjoyed your podcasts "Poems with Pete", they helped to boost my cultural studies of Chinese. I also thought they were among the classier elements of ChinesePod.

Anyway, good luck with your future plans, and please keep us Poddies regularly informed of your future exploits.

regards
