actually I wrote some pretty horrendous shit in japanese but I don't know how the hell anyone at cpod would understand because it was some hardcore slang...oh well, zhenlijiang must've told on me...

Hi, a question if I may...

in this sentence...

Put it under his legs for the blood to circulate upwards.

why is there 静脉 in this sentence?  静脉 means vein if I am not mistaken...

这样可以帮助回流....could you just say it like this?

and why is there a 静脉 instead of 动脉?

please explain!

thank you!

Hi all,

yet another question...regarding the below sentence, and the word 情趣, I am really struggling to grasp the meaning...in my dictionary it has it translated as 1) disposition and taste, ad 2)good taste, appeal

You've always thought I was too simple and nice-- boring! I know that.)

so would a more literal translation of the cpod dialogue be something like: You always were annoyed that I was too nice, and had no appeal.

???

how else is this word used?

thank you!

In this sentence,

is there any difference between 居然 and 竟然?  Are the two words completely interchangeable?

Cheers
