yes. 决心 is a noun and adj.

我决心do something.(verb) I decided to do something.

我有决心。

决意 is just a verb.

When 'I decided to do something'. 决心 is the same as 决意。 But 决意 is more ' I won't change my mind'.

That's the different view on tense between Chinese and English. In that case, Chinese think it's past tense. Because 看见 is 'saw'. When I say this sentence, the fact ' I don't see you' already happened. But in English, it's just 'I don't see you.' :-)

对,是差不多。But 受刺激 shòucìjī is more nagetive. 震惊 is relatively netural.

我们发现了外星人。wǒmen fāxiàn le wàixīngrén. That's 震惊not 受刺激。

For the first question, it's better to use '浮在上面' to decribe something already submerged that comes to the surface. 我看到泡泡(pao4pao4 bubble)浮在上面。

For the second question, it works. your sentence is correct.

是的。Techically, '泳' and '车' are more like adj instead of verb.

Right. Some people choose to pay the fare since they don't need to go the taxi rank/office.

Though there is no grammar support, the two sentences are different.

“你给客户打个电话” = 'please call customer'. It's like a order. Do it.

“你给客户打电话” = 'you call the customer.' It's just a statement sentence.

'In the expansion section' = 在扩展里 zài tuòzhǎn lǐ.
