Da Jia hao, does any one know where you can practice listening to the close tones/sound such as in above chang, chan vs. shang. shi vs. chi, zhang vs. jang vs. zhan. i stumbled once on a website that does that, however i can not seem to be able to relocate it any more.

@lily_counselor, actually no one knows for sure when did Jesus may peace be upon him was born? some different christian sects celebrate his birthday in different dates, and some belive celebrating is a pagent tradition that should not be done as it is celebrating a false god of pre-christian Era in Syria, it is a long subject, check it out in here

the iphone learn chinese application is cool, i like it. i could not see pinying though. is there a plan to have pinyin too, they are available in the flashcards but not in the lesson dialog, aslo it would have been nice if i can see the dialog while it is played, i will see what i can do

Nice one dunderklumpen, idid not know that there are video webcasts in chinesepods! are there more of this? it would be nice to have movies with subtitles

Need to understand this!, in the podcast

  is translated literaly as "you looking/searching me?"  what if that was in the airport for frisk search! would you say the same " you search me?  ? i just want to know would that depend on the setting context?
