October 5, 2011 at 12:26 PMI agree that the store should include some Chinesepod branded merchandise like mugs and t-shirts so that we can show off where we are learning all these great Chinese skills! Personally, I want a shirt that says, "Yes, I can read this" in Chinese :)

August 23, 2011 at 12:27 PMIn the United States, every school district is different. One district may start on one day, and on the other side of town another district will often start on a different day. Sometimes even within a district, seperate schools, ie) primary and secondary schools will start and end on different dates.

August 15, 2011 at 8:30 PMI'm not sure where you're from, but where I'm from it is quite common to hear that something "requires some balls" even in reference to women. It's more tongue in cheek and slightly humorous when used in respect to an action a woman performs as opposed to a man...but it is still used that way a lot!

February 2, 2011 at 3:04 PMIt really bothers me when we nitpick the hosts. back in the day people would give Ken a hard time for saying the word "now" too much. Then they gave Pete a hard time for being too dry. Amber a hard time for not having enough meat in her instruction. Liliana a hard time for the innuendoes. Jenny a hard time for the occasional English mispronunciation. Now Jen a hard time for laughing too much?? Seriously? There are always going to be some hosts that work for your style of learning better than others. That is why they have a variety of hosts. I think they all do a very good job at what they do!
