September 15, 2010 at 10:27 AM我根本不知道“马马虎虎”这个词是过时的。像John一样，我用这个词的时候，中国人总是笑而说我的汉语还不错。我才明白了为什么他们这样说。还有，中国人夸奖我的中文的时候，我经常回答说，《哪里哪里》。这个表现也引起差不多一样的回应。这个词也许是过时的吗？其实，我还没听说过中国人使用这个表现。

February 13, 2011 at 12:24 AMI also had the same question, since in one of my dictionaries (日中大辞典), the first definition for 吃豆腐 is "to tease or kidding someone." Is this usage already out of date, or it is used only in Taiwan?
