Another question about the Expansion - in the 3rd sentence from the end:

...把毛毛虫放在了同学的书包里.

is that 了 really in the right place? I would have thought it should come before the 在.

Well, your profile says you are a Newbie, so I'm afraid the answer is no. Since you are asking though, perhaps you are actually at a higher level. The Intermediate lessons include explanations in Chinese.

I usually don't plagerize. I prefer to plagiarise, though I occasionally plagiarize.

joschka, you are making the common mistake of interpreting a joke word by word and then claiming your interpretation is the 'real meaning.' Jokes cannot be understood by looking at each word individually. Extracting the hidden meaning is the challenge of joke interpretation.

I think they ARE just refreshing old lessons. I looked at the original lesson on asking the time (0122) and the question 'what time is it?' was never answered with the actual time - they only said 'its too late now', 'its too early now', and 'Im in a hurry'. I would say Chinese Pod has taken the time to find these glaring omissions and fix them.

Judging by your comment on the 'Awkward Silence' lesson, you did not read the earlier comments - the lesson was an April Fools' joke.

Everyone fails to see the humour in a joke at some time.

Most people simply let everyone else enjoy the fun, perhaps even pretend to go along with the joke just to get into the spirit.

The remaining minority prefer to kill the spirit by telling everyone that THEY didn't find the joke funny, as though they believe that this news is important enough to be shared.

Yes, I was wondering about that too. Its not too clear who is meant. But it appears the comment was designed to offend someone. I trust this is not a reference to people who simply enjoy a joke on April Fool's Day (or any other day for that matter).

I didn't realize that Afghanistan was selected - I have never tried to set my country here, and I am certainly not an Afghan.

I thought you were trying to say that your comment (which you deleted) was written in Afghani, and as I had (apparently) read your comment then perhaps I was an Afghan.

Why do your comments leave me with the impression that you went to my profile in a vain attempt to dig up dirt?

Afghan is it? Then Wikipedia lied.

I am glad you saw some sense and deleted your most recent comment.

If you have something to say, say it in English or Chinese, not Persian. There is no point in trying to disguise your comments (unsuccessfully might I add) in another language.
