February 4, 2011 at 1:20 PM请问，"我打算明年年底前把公司上市”。。。这里的“上市”总是指“take the company public"?
因为经常看到这些"上市”的词在不少的新产品单子上。。。一定不是表达产品是“take the product public" as in "be listed on the stock market".
而且，英语中我们说：My company is listed on the NASDAQ (or any other market of choice).
listed on the market? (as in stock market) 用汉语怎么说？

1）翻跟头。。。用什么动词呢？ 比如做一个翻跟头？
还是应该说“翻个跟头？
2）gymnastics 在英语中代表这全种类的活动，包括很多具体的形式。但汉语有没有具体的一个字代表这种类的活动？体操？
3）cartwheel 用汉语怎么说？翻筋斗？ 翻筋斗和翻跟头有什么区别？
4）handstand 用汉语怎么说？ 拿大顶？拿顶？ 倒立？用什么动词？ 做一个handstand?

然后，检查完，老师会“发作业”，“还给作业”？哪个是对的？
英语中我们会说：After the teacher receives the homework, she will check the homework, and then give it back to the students.
用汉语怎么说？ 老师收到作业以后，她会检查作业，检查完之后她会还给学生他们的作业？还是，她会发给学生他们的作业？
2。而且John提到的英语中有名的没做作业的借口（Sorry, my dog ate my homework) 用汉语怎么说？
a. 对不起，我的狗把我的作业吃掉了。（可以怎么说？）
b. 对不起，我的狗吃了我的作业。（可以怎么说？ ）
c . 对不起，我的作业被狗吃了。 （可以怎么说？）
d. 对不起， 我的作业给狗吃了。 （可以怎么说？）

那：legal disclaimer 和 ChinesePod does not endose this。。。用汉语怎么说？
免责声明？免责条款？需要加上“法律免责声明”？
比如：John在课程结束之前，说一段免责声明？
段是否“免责声明”的量词呢？
ChinesePod没有推荐这样做？ChinesePod赞同这样做？
