我目前只听了一次这个课程,所以不太熟悉,可是因为这个乐队用乐谱,所以好像他们表演COVERS,对不对?中文怎么说COVERS?

Well no, I don't sound like Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and personally I can't say that I want to. But my point is, why is it right for people to so casually disrespect the way a person speaks? This is culture as far as I'm concerned. It is normally wrong to disrespect another's culture, but for some reason many people think that rule doesn't apply to Americans. I guess I am annoyed by a large group of non-Americans who have a misconception that somehow American English is inferior because, well, it is.

Anyway, I'm still getting ready to listen to this. Looking forward to it.

Thanks Baba, and right back at ya. Actually, I don't mean to jump on hau_ab (too much). But just for the record, I have never once thought that any other English accent, lingo, etc. is superior to an American's. My point is, we Americans (generally) like how we sound, so I think anyone else could too if they gave us a chance.

I must confess that I intentionally tried to sound like someone from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Guilty. That said, when I hear someone pick on American accents and lingo, or any other accent or lingo, I immediately think "snob".

Oh yeah, Chinese... dudes, er... mates!
