打招呼 /dâzhāohū/ to greet
打酱油/dâjiàngyoú/ I just pop in and say hi

“我饿死了” I am very hungry . while "他饿死了” can have 2 meanings, the first one is he is very hungry and the second one is he was hungry to death.
