June 26, 2019 at 9:38 AMAnother one is “吃软不吃硬”（litterally means only eat something soft but not eat something hard. ) one can be persuaded by reason but not be cowed by force.
eg: 我这个人是吃软不吃硬的。

the first one means“ to like”(我喜欢吃饭）
another one means "happy, glad" (哥哥回国，全家喜欢）
the last one is to describe some actions that always happen (他总喜欢玩游戏）
