Not sure if it is quite like this, but along the same lines I really love 二手玫瑰 ; plus the (male) lead singer sometimes likes to wear a qipao and makeup, which gives them a certain something.

There are a lot of good post-punk rock bands coming out of Beijing these days. Some of my favorites include Hedgehog, Carsick Cars, Lonely China Day, and Queen Sea Big Shark.
