May 8, 2019 at 3:34 PMI can't think of any contextual situation in which the word 舞弊 can be replaced by 作弊. I think when we talk about cheating in an exam, 作弊 means students cheat, 舞弊 means the teacher allows the student to cheat.

May 8, 2019 at 2:25 PMI heard you pronounce 成功 as chénggōng, but at 1:50, the pinyin of 功 does not indicate it is the 1st tone, in fact there is not any indication of tones. So how should it be pronounced exactly?

May 5, 2019 at 3:05 PMI think it is better to say 我去挖掘新客户 instead of 我就挖掘新客户. Also I‘ve heard 找客户 or 寻找客户 often in sales meetings. 挖掘客户 sounds a bit too formal in a daily conversation.

May 5, 2019 at 2:29 PMI feel the language in the dialogue is a bit awkward. For example, 好，你可以睡觉 is a suggestion, it could be 好了，你可以去睡觉了 or 好了，你可以去睡觉吗? And the 2nd 可以 in 不可以，但可以睡觉 dosen't sound proper in a situation in which Daddy refuses his kid's request and suggests kid should do something else. It should be 不可以，你应该睡觉去 or 不行，去睡觉吧.

May 8, 2019 at 3:57 PMIt's a bit weird to hear 誓言 as a verb in the sentence 法国总统埃马纽埃尔马克龙誓言发起国际募捐. It's mostly used as a noun. I think 发誓 which is a verb, is better.
