April 25, 2019 at 4:47 AMWhen Joy pronounced the Chinese word 一月 for January, it sounds like she pronounced it differently the 1st time and 2nd time. Given the Pinyin of 一月 (yīyuè), I think the the 2nd time is right, as she pronounced it with a 1st tone.

April 24, 2019 at 11:30 AMAt 6:00, in the story of Aladdin's magic lamp, I think it should be 获得永生, because in the context eternal life is not a goal but something rewarded by the lamp. Also 老妈子 should be an oral expression of servant, rather than mother which should be 老妈 without the 子.

April 4, 2019 at 9:13 AMat 8:11, in the subtitle of the video, should it be 现象 instead of 想象? At 15:28, in the subtitle, should it be 买单 instead of 卖单? Does Constance mean 自行车 when she mentioned 脚踏车? I think the latter one is less used in Mainland Mandarin.

April 4, 2019 at 9:06 AMI agree with others that this video is difficult for a intermediate level Chinese learner. But apart from the difficulty level, there are also things that are pretty misleading, because it is made by Taiwan Chinese speaker, but meant to teach mainland Chinese. I noticed several issues:
1. Country name for France is typed in Simplified Chinese as 法国，but pronounced as fà guó, the Taiwanese way. It should be fá guó in Mainland Chinese.
2. Croatia is 克罗地亚 in Mainland Chinese, not 克罗迪西亚
3. 枪支 is wrongly typed as 枪枝
4. Hurricane Michael and Hurricane Florence should be 飓风迈克尔 and 飓风佛罗伦萨 respectively in mainland Chinese
5. Meghan Markle and Kavanaugh should be 梅根马克尔 and 卡瓦诺 respectively in mainland Chinese, not 梅根梅克尔 and 卡瓦纳
6. And there are some traditional Chinese characters as in 罷工 and 重創, although most of the characters used are simplified Chinese.
