March 27, 2019 at 2:07 AMIt's a way of being polite or 客气, so you can just continue the conversation like the other person in the dialogue, or you can answer it with " 托您的福，万安，万安!" which means thanks to you, I'm great! But modern people don't really use these phrases in daily conversation.

For this lesson, we didn’t go very deep into the discussion, but actually putting the noun or sometimes a more complex sentence at the front and then add a description/ comment is a special Chinese grammar. It is called “topic-comment” structure and is very common in Chinese. 坚果和海鲜 (noun/topic) 我吃不了 (comment). It draws attention to what you cannot eat!
