2. I am not sure why morning sick is called 害喜, but it is possible that this saying originates in a part of Central China, and it spreads to other places. The word 喜 means something happy or likable, and the word 害 indicates something evil or might cause harm and trouble. I guess morning sick is simply the only uncomfortability during pregnancy. (Obviously not, there is the giving birth part. )
