There is a slight difference, but you can see it as two interchangeable words. 好看 literally means good look and 漂亮 means pretty, so a good looking person is usually pretty or vice versa.

In general, the verb 得dé means to receive or to obtain. In this case, it is pronounced as de and not used as a verb, but you can think it as a particle in between a verb and the results or the feedbacks that you received after completing the action.

They are not interchangeable. 说话 and 跑步 are merely actions, whereas 说得 and 跑得 they are emphasising an additional information describing the previous verb. Let's say 他跑的很快。 跑得 is followed by 很快, which is fast, an additional information added to describe the verb 跑.
