well apparently "the drug dealer" lesson is considered "general" which I think is strange because I thought it was one of chinesepod's edgier lessons. Maybe the ratings only apply to things related to "sex"?

So many great lines in this dialogue, 把我当猴耍 -make a monkey out of me and 我是来这里办事的,不是被你们像皮球一样踢来踢去的

these are worth memorizing by heart if you live in China though it may get people angry with you

please don't talk to me like a child, I really don't appreciate it. If you took even a cursory glance at my profile you would see that I actually teach English in China. Yes I made an error in my comment. It happens to everyone.

If you can't answer a simple question without being a jerk about it, then I'm done talking to you, have a good day!

ok, fair enough. i was just asking a question, I'm not a chinesepod expert/historian.

There is no need to attack me for that or put words in my mouth because I never said anything about it being an "inconvenience" or it "being a big deal."

I just think the maturity rating should be explained by Chinesepod. At least about what are the different ratings and what they mean. Otherwise how can be understand them?

i never said it was a big deal, i just didn't understand the logic behind it. Nothing about chinese pod dialogues is really risquee in a way that would warrant a rating system in my opinion.

actually i think they added it a few months ago though mostly it's been "general" and this is the first time I've seen it as "parental guidance"

why is a dialogue about guys talking about girls get a maturity rating of "parental guidance"? what exactly does that mean? I didn't Chinesepod had too many users that are younger than 18.
