December 17, 2007 at 4:36 AMhi garry, Yes, the 吧 (ba) makes it a suggestion, softer in tone. The second time he says it, it is more direct, for sure. Possibly annoyed, depending on the tone of voice, really. But the meaning is, 'come on' or 'walk' or 'let's leave.'

December 17, 2007 at 3:52 AMhi sparechange, That pronunciation of 一束 (yīshù) has to do with the tone rules for 一 (yī), which are: When “一 (yī)” is in front of fourth tone, it is pronounced as second tone: "一束 (yíshù). When “一 (yī)” is in front of first, second or third tone, its is pronounced as fourth tone: "一起 (yìqǐ)" When “一 (yī)” is in the second half of the word, it is always pronounced as first tone: "第一 (dìyī)"
