November 20, 2007 at 2:30 AMhi darylk, 他真的不够。Tā zhēn de bùgòu. There is no 了 (le) in this sentence because it is in the negative, and 了(le) is not used in negative sentences. The Thanksgiving lesson comes out on Nov. 22 (Shanghai time) so you'll have a few hours to cram before your dinner!

November 20, 2007 at 2:26 AMhi emberswift, If you went around saying: 我很有想法 Wǒ hěn yǒu xiǎngfa It might sound a little conceited. However, you can say it. A little softer way of saying it would be: 我比较坚持自己的想法。 Wǒ bǐjiào jiānchí zìjǐ de xiǎngfa.

However, there is a word which means the stuffing of a steamed bun: 馅儿 (xiànr) which can be used to describe stuffing!
