Yes, 拜访 (bàifǎng) is a lot more formal. When you are just seeing a friend, you use 看朋友 (kàn péngyou).
(Tā lái le.) can mean 'He's here', as in 'He has arrived.' But, depending on the context, it could also mean 'He came.'

Yes 营 (yíng) is used in reference to other camping as well:
夏令营 (xiàlìngyíng) summer camp
露营 (lùyíng) and 野营 (yěyíng) to camp

A rough translation for "I just hit the wall" is:
我做不下去了 (Wǒ zuòbuxià qù le)

Nǐ zhège shǎguā!
Does sound cute. However, depending on the tone of voice you use, it can be an insult as well.

The 他 (tā) in 关他的资料 (guān tā de zīliào) refers to 'a lot of information about him'.

Thanks, that has been fixed now.
Also, 课程 (kèchéng) can have both of those meanings, depending on the context.

kāimùshì cóng shénme shíhou kāishǐ?
The 从 (cóng) can be omitted here, with the same meaning.
nǐ kàn guò àoyùnhuì kāimùshì ma?
You are correct, and we have changed the translation! Thanks and sorry about that.

The closest translation we can make for that is:
使你的选择多样化.
(Shǐ nǐ de xuǎnzé duōyànghuà.)
