May 12, 2008 at 6:42 AMhi chris, jazz, et al 这件 (Zhè jiàn) / 这个 (Zhège) The proper and most correct way is to use the measure word 件 (jiàn) for clothing . However, in daily life, 个 (ge) is often used as a generic measure word in spoken Chinese. So both are commonly heard, however 件 (jiàn) is more correct.
