December 28, 2007 at 9:05 AMIn the 90s, I worked with a Chinese woman who said that she doesn´t want to give birth to a daughter in the year of the dragon. Going back further back in time to my teenage years, I seem to recall some male classmates saying that they will never marry a girl born in the year of the tiger when the time comes for marriage. What´s so bad about being a female born in the year of the Tiger? Now Amber, have you ever supported this "little guy" coffee shop called 上海星巴克? I saw one a few blocks away from Nanjing Road when I was in Shanghai a year ago.
