Parents who let their kids (who still lack a fully developed brain) run wild and do whatever they want are being under protective.

November 13, 2011 at 1:22 PMI agree that washing your hair does strip it of natural oils, but I'm still not convinced that the no 'poo method works for everybody. I tried it for a few months in college and usually made it for about a month before giving in and washing my hair. My hair is thin and fine, so by a month it was absolutely disgusting. I kept waiting and waiting for that "detox" period to end, but by the end I still hadn't noticed a difference in how oily my hair was. I would love to give up shampoo, but I'm not sure I'll be able to try it again unless I can hang out in a cave for a while without having to worry about work or meeting people.
