As far as I know, in Chinese, animals are referred to using ’它' rather than 他/她。I guess here they could still be accusing the trainer.

July 9, 2011 at 12:27 AMI learned 闲工夫 as spare time. Are 闲工夫/闲功夫 both ok and do they have the same meaning?
Also, what about 色眯眯/色咪咪？
