For the picture, I have it hosted on flickr. You can add photos hosted on other servers by clicking on the insert/edit image icon when commenting. You just need the link of the photo.

As far as the personal messaging function, sorry but I'm not sure. I'm actually not in the office daily, so I wonder if you might get a faster response by emailing support or positing to this page http://chinesepod.com/community/conversations/post/14009#comment-268890.

谢谢你的鼓励joellefrei. 我是2008年开始学习中文的。瑞士是一个很漂亮的国家。希望改天有机会去看看!

Hi everyone, Shanell here. First of all, thanks for all of the encouraging comments. I really appreciate them. To answer a couple of questions, I am originally from the States, Las Vegas area. I first set foot in China in 2008 only knowing how to say 你好. I started learning soon after arriving and haven't stopped. I can still remember some of the ChinesePod newbie lessons I started with! I returned to China again in 2010 and have been living in Shanghai since then.

Now onto the subject of cake. Here's a picture from a one year old's birthday party I recently attended. Pretty impressive, don't you think?

I really needed this lesson. And I think it would have even helped a lot of my ESL students.

The only place I've been to is 番茄农庄. I thought it was pretty fun. We stayed in cabin like houses on a pond and the people running it prepared meals for us using stuff they grew on their farm. The group I was with didn't do many of the activities they offered, but I think there was horse back riding, strawberry picking, and BBQ just to name a few. They also had a rec room with a pool table and ping pong. There's more info on dianping http://www.dianping.com/shop/2102194. You could also do a search for other options there. Here was our cute little cabin.
