Small thing in the expansion 他从星期一到星期五都要上班。should be translated as 'He...' not 'I...'.

In the expansion 这么好的酒店，可是服务真差。is translated as 'big restaurant', i understand that a 好的酒店 is probably big but to me I would have thought 大的 would be better and is closer to the translation.

Hi Amber, I think wilsondp31's question would be a good subject for a Qing Wen. Another would be the shi ... de pattern that I have heard of but not really seen much on cpod. I guess a discussion on different ways of indicating 'past tense' in general would be good.

I thought Amber was writing the intro's esp. with the dig at Clay but given that it is not so positive about a trip to Canada I guess it was somebody else. Can't wait for the next lesson 'Why oh why did I choose Canada when I could have gone to Sydney!' just kidding ;-)

In the expansion the 了 in the sentance 在艺术体操比赛中，她展现了自己优美的舞姿 sounds more like e than le. Is this normal? Also in the discussion above bostonphil mentions a rule about 了 with 不 or 没 is suggested but I would have thought bu is possible but for mei le can be used as this can be for things in the past. Amber your guidance would be appreciated. Hope you had a good holiday.

Hi The expansion is incorrect from the following on. The characters and translations are out of order. The audio is also out. 我要买四张电影票。 (Students must study diligently.)

This lesson is listed twice under U-Int, I think it is causing a problem with the lesson counters on the site as this lesson is being counted twice.
