不知道爲什麽，但如今留言的網友少了一些。

我這八個月忙著念碩士，所以有一陣子沒有在看板，

然後夏初回來。。。就比較安靜一些。我想，可能是這個新穎的留言板。那個舊的，就比較會讓人与彼此互動吧。這個新的也不錯，不過希望更多人會來參加討論~~嗚嗚

dun, dun.dun! 中國網友知道這個dun dun dun是什麽意思嗎？不知道中文裏有沒有相當於之的説法，應該沒有吧？

結果是她立即去下載看看。

再過幾天，她回來找我，打我好幾回！

But is terribly effete. Putonghua IS northern Chinese. The other accents are okay, but I don't want Guanhua+flavor of random dialect which I shall never learn. It's like listening to American or German flavored Chinese. It's like...okay, accented Chinese great. I want to hear northern accents because Putonghua takes Beijing as it's base accent, and today the people with the best, native Chinese are the residents of Jilin, Harbin, etc. Anyway, I don't care what the kids in China think, they'll change their minds in 5 minutes anyway, I'm interested in the basis and origin of modern Chinese as we know it- not derivatives of it.

Basically, just because it's an accent of a language that's in China doesn't make it any less foreign-accented Chinese, ya? If you have a Wu accent, or a Cantonese accent, well, as linguists know, those aren't dialects, they're real languages. So, it's the same situation as me speaking Chinese. I've got an English accent in it. Some other people have their own Shandong accent or whatever. Great. We all have accents, we are all equal in this regard. But since the Chinese government accepts and promotes the pronunciation from Northern China, specifically Beijing, as the basis for modern Chinese...well, that's where my interest lies.

Hello Chinesepod staff!

I would just like to stop by here and voice a particular concern of mine.

I love the lessons here: the vocabulary, stories, and voice acting is always superb, and the hosts are, need I even say it, just great at making an entertaining podcast.

However, there is one problem.

Namely, I want more NORTHEN Chinese.

Manly man, Northern, super-standard, sounds like someone is chewing on glass Chinese. You know exactly what I mean too.

I spend a lot of time with each lesson, I cut the audio up and review each clip maybe 20-25 times each, and I spend a lot of time imitating the voice actors. So, I get pretty familiar with it, and I've been doing this for about 3 years now. And I have to say, even though I really like the voice actors you have now...there's just too many girls, too many Southern-Central Chinese influenced accents in there. I mean, I like the guy voice actor who shows up all the time, I like him a lot. But I don't want to hear the same dude every podcast. And I want to hear Northern Mandarin, the real genuine article, at the very least, someone who sounds like the dudes who read the news on CCTV.

I know someone is going to jump on me, and say "oh, just leave it," "oh, it's already great." etc. etc. Well, it IS great. I do LOVE it. I just want to hear more "man" Chinese in an accent I can feel comfortable imitating, ie not so cute.

Anyway, I'm probably being too picky, but I just hope that in the future you guys could take that into consideration. And if the voice talent from the podcast reads this: I totally love your work, so I hope you don't feel offended.

如果她先簽一個婚前協議書，女主角就不用擔心這些瑣屑的事情！不順利就換一個！:P 她是上海的女人嗎？希望她沒有遭到《雙面膠》的女主角那麽慘的下場！不過，我看chinesepod的劇本作者不會對他們的人物很好。。。Love Tangle的結局真滿有意思的！你們是不是學了《蝸居》？

在美國，皮薩上最異常的配料大概是鳳梨！比較常看到的配料有黑橄欖，青椒，辣椒，各種各樣的奶酪，胚根，牛肉，意大利香腸，等等。我猜，西方人對皮薩配料的印象是：第一，需要奶酪和番茄醬，第二，往往需要肉，各種各樣的肉是可以的，但一片一片的肉（類似臘腸）是比較常見的，你也可以加很多蔬菜，但“奇怪“的蔬菜，譬如玉米，就是不可能看到的！更不用説雞蛋，哈哈。我現在住在臺灣，然後雖然他們的皮薩又跟中國不一樣，但我就是無法喜歡上這樣的怪風格~

但我同時卻很喜歡臭豆腐~哈哈哈

你碰過到底的中國搞哲學的學者嗎？他們大部分不會去搞你心目中的那種哲學，他們都是訓詁學者，哈哈哈。我上過易經的研究所課程。。。我的媽呀！都是去分析一些破字兒的來源和發展，然後如果有學者真的去談比較哲學性的問題，他們就變成衆矢之的了。

我主張都是理學的錯，朱熹應該謝天謝地我沒有時光機，不然我早去回去捅他一刀！ ；）
