the worst thing is that MM will be asymmetrical from now on. until now we had one every week, so week 52 would round up almost a year. what if you cancel the show? I'll have to search elsewhere for a Chinese dubbing show...

若茵维莱, 巴西, Ruo4yin1wei2lai2, Ba1xi1. I was surprised to know my hometown name was already transliterated into Chinese... I guess no one will have to wait as much as me to have the hometown starring one lesson.

great lesson about pranking... perhaps it's more appropriate to have food in a Chinese prank, but I'd love to have a geography lesson about San Serrif. Have this story ever reached China? This island state should travel so fast through the seas that it could already reached the Pacific by now...

"roasted over coal"?! I hope its charcoal. I don't like the idea of a food cooked over a fossil fuel rich in toxic carcinogenic compounds. in Brazil chestnuts are a christmas season dish, water boiled. I'm not very fond of them. Where I can find I prefer those nuts sold in fast food chains, like the Nutty Bavarian. let's have a lesson about almonds, hazelnuts, pecan nuts and the brazil nut, of course.

when i first read 围巾 [圍巾] wéi jīn and 比较 [比較] bǐ jiào I was struck by the resemblance this word bears with 韩 [韓] Hán (Korea). I know this is only a written similarity, but is it possible to say " 中式圍巾最好織韓式圍巾比較難 中式围巾最好织韩式围巾比较难 Zhōng shì wéi jīn zuì hǎo zhī, hán shì wéi jīn bǐ jiào nán" ? something like, Chinese style scarves are easy to knit, Korean ones are harder? I like the traditional Chinese for its consistency, and this time, by its funny repetition of strokes.

there's a song I like a lot and have been trying to translat to Mandarin. I've tried the folowing, but I don't know if it is right... even the english doesn't sound very natural. 沒有奔逃的人, 因为他們怕了. 人怕因 为奔逃了 méi yǒu bēn táo de ren, yīn wéi tā men pà le. Rén pà yīn wéi bēn táo le. nobody flees because of fear. people fear because they’ve fled.

people who go to Venezuela are advised by experienced tourists that it is good policy to buy a local newspaper to pretend your Venezuelan, and so avoid tourists-seeking robbers. Though I couldn't possibly ever look Chinese, do you think buying a Chinese paper helps building a low profile in China?

henning German translations for sci fi terms were awesome. I can't forget "hochbeamen", even though I never watch Star Trek in German. I'm afraid it is not as easy to translate such words into mandarin.

is it just me or Jenny's voice is less nasal when she does the show with John? It is only a slight difference, maybe due to the harsh weather China is going through...
