Two things come to mind, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder," and "A picture is worth a thousand words."

"a German expression denoting overblown technical jargon that is used for purposes of information hiding."

有越来越这种"技术话!" 我觉得这是一种伪装。人人都应该卸下伪装.

Hey, what really happens on networks is very simple. 真的很容易!Packets are not that different than letters, and routing is very similar to how the postal system delivers letters albeit more reliable in the US. All of the protocols are intuitive.

我快就教我的外孙女网络协议层(wang3luo4xie2yi4ceng2). 她十岁 ...

I know you definitely do not put up a "false front," and are an excellent teacher. We need more such teachers.

为什么没有“加密套接子协议层?" (-: (SSL Layer)

应用层 = Application Layer

表示层 = presentation Layer

会话层 = Session Layer

传输层 =Transport Layer

网络层 = Network Layer

数据链路层 = data link layer

物理层 = physical layer

有一个问题:你为什么教OSI Network Stack? OSI Network Stack死了!

Since we are giving a little networking class, I'd say you should also teach the Internet network layers as the following noting that each layer represents one or more protocols:

Application HTTP for example

Security TLS/SSL (when present)

Transport TCP/UDP etc ...

Internet (IP)IPv4/IPv6/ICMP, etc ...

Data LInk Which of the above

Physical MAC addresses

Hmm ... 我为什么做上面了?Or, as my grand daughter recently answered an advanced-advanced math question, "You must be kidding !" 她老师同意她了 (-:

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 70's there were several "co-ops." They came in many forms. 团购比“co-op"差不多一样。 The price reductions were quite good and in some cases one even received "shares"(团购). So, it was an investment as well.

A group formed a co-op in our neighborhood where the members were the employees. One had to work one day a month and the reductions were 50%. For young families like ours at that time this was fantastic.

这片视频真的很酷.

As I recall, after this video went viral on the Internet, United Airlines stock market cap, or total value of their shares, lost $110,000,000! You can bet the fellow received more than an apology. The power of the Internet is amazing ...

When thinking about the following from this lesson:

我的钱包丢了.

wǒdeqiánbāo diūle

I lost my wallet.

I think it is important to note that in English we can also say, My wallet is lost. This translation gives the same sense as 丢。

For non-native English speakers the following is a very interesting and perhaps unclear sentence:

"And that's when I lost it. 'No, you lost my luggage! I know exactly where I left it last, thank you.' "

I'm not sure how well understood, "And that's when I lost it," is.

Here, "I lost it" means to get angry. One can also say, I lost my cool; I lost my composure; and I lost my temper. These all mean to get angry.

Hi,

So, you must be French since you use the phrase, "burn a red light," or "brule un feu rouge." In English we say, "run a red light." I often say, "Il a grillé un feu rouge," when I'm in France.

When my wife and I were walking about 上海 near the 世博 last May it was insane trying to 过马路. It actually reminded us of New York CIty, and I must admit, 巴黎.
