今天的话题就让我想起来了 一句俗话叫做杀鸡焉用牛刀。 海口市政府不顾舆论的反对 勉强建立卫星定位系统的话、 对官员的信任一定会下降的。 为了避免这种社会现象发生、 我劝海口市纪委用这个系统 监视贪官而追踪他们的去向。 只有这样做才能让百姓满意。

Hi danjo! Thank you for your comment. There are some female singers, athletes, and other famous people whose names are, for example, 李丹, 林丹, 张丹, 周丹, 王丹and so on in China, and "Michael Jordan" is迈克尔乔丹in Chinese. Anyway I am afraid that your girlfriend might not feel gratified if you chose 丹 for your name. Don’t take the risk!

Hi danjo! 丹周、丹洲、丹宙 丹(dan1) is commonly used for Chinese names. I think 丹 is better than 蛋!

I've just remenbered that I ran out of vinegar and olive oil. I will buy them after I take a sauna and drink a few glasses of draft beer! It's Sunday, no work, and it's HOT today!

"猫" has another meaning in China, a modem. Its official name is "调制解调器", which is really a tongue twister. I can't get my tongue around it. 调制解调器 (tiao2 zhi4 jie3 tiao2 qi4)

数独我一次也没玩过。 填字游戏也不太爱玩。 我相当讨厌魔术方块。 围棋象棋我都下不了、 别说是跳棋黑白棋了。 我当然不懂国际象棋。 我从小就不善于游戏、 就是个不动脑筋的人。 像我这么无趣味的人 怎么能充分享受人生?

数独(Sudoku) is an abbreviation of the Japanese phrase 数字は独身に限る (suji wa dokushin ni kagiru), which means “the number must be single.” I hate numbers!
