I agree. "Resolve" (or neutralize, ease off, reconcile) would be more appropriate in this case.

Sorry for nitpicking, but Chinese dogs' bark is “汪汪” (wang1wang1), but not “旺旺” (wang4wang4). The “旺旺” in the dialogue section should be a typo.
P/S. My chubby dog says, "I don't care!"

I have a lot of tupperware containers at home, but I've never cared about its Chinese name before. “特百惠” is a NICE translation, hehe.

“别忙着感叹” literally means "Don't be busy sighing", and it can be translated as "you can't sit back and relax now" (or something like that) in natural English.

FYI, “歼” (殲) is used as a name of Chinese jet fighters. The latest model is called “歼10”

Many thanks for the English lessons! Personally I like "beam me up" best, hehe.

March 14, 2010 at 3:58 AM从岁数上说,我正在处于所谓的“中年危机”中,不过我这个中年人一点危机感都没有,每天都却过得很快乐。不要误会,我的生活并不稳定,再说我又不是个有钱人。我认为人生的关键就在于“想开”和“知足”这两个词。万事想开点,知足者常乐!
