Japanese Otaku (御宅族) usually connotes "geek", but on the other hand, Chinese "宅男/宅女" (御宅族男人/女人) also sometimes mean "guys who love to stay at home", probably partly because the character "宅" strongly connotes "house" in Chinese.
Japanese "宅" also means "house", but "御宅" (otaku) is usually used in the sense of "you/your family", which are often used by those geeky guys. "宅" is rarely used as a verb both in modern Chinese and Japanese. I guess "宅在家" is a relatively new usage, perhaps.

“人参”是中国东北地区的一个特产品，尤其是在长白山脉生长的所谓“长白山人参”非常有名又很昂贵，假货当然很多。

没错儿，“门槛高”就是“敷居が高い”这句日语的一个很正确的中文翻译。“吃得透”指的是不是“彻底理解/消化”？这个说法我头一次看到，谢谢！
