I agree! My three favorite lessons worth memorizing are:

The Man and the Dog -- Elementary

http://chinesepod.com/lessons/the-man-and-the-dog

Sheep, Wolves, and Fruit: a Riddle -- Intermediate

http://chinesepod.com/lessons/sheep-wolves-and-fruit-a-riddle

Funny Rice -- Elementary

My strategy when meeting a Chinese person for the first time is to say 你好 and then abruptly launch into one of these three dialogues. Afterwards the conversion invariably remains in Chinese, otherwise it has a tendency to switch to English.

Mikeinewshot, both the dialogue and full lesson audio files have been changed for me. You might want to try clearing your browser cache and try again.

Very well done lesson.

P.S.  The first sentence in the translation should be

"Are there any questions?"

not

"Is there any questions?"

I agree, I am also an ardent fan of the new Upper Intermediate format. Thank you, Jenny and David, for this new UI format.

In the expansion sentence:

小明一直咬指甲。

指甲 is marked with the first tone, I believe the pinyin for 指甲 should be marked with the third tone (zhǐjia).

Good lower-level Intermediate content with a polished discussion.  Thank you, Shanell and Jenny, for your good work!
