July 11, 2007 at 2:21 AMI'd like to caution other users here. That little lesson intro written up there at the top of the page? Pure lies! I had a housewarming party for my new house just a few weeks ago. Did I get a plant? I did not! Where is my plant, ChinesePod?! :-P

June 27, 2007 at 4:12 AMI actually got it at just over a minute into the podcast! For a Newbie/Ele learning like me, the dialogue ROCKETS by, but I'd know this movie if you did it in Aramaic. :-)

June 18, 2007 at 4:21 AMI just love this show. It's fantastic. Ken, you're a (not-so) old pro at this, but I'm just blown away at how effortless Amber and Aggie make it seem. It's a blast to listen to. I'm actually getting about 25-40% of what Aggie says, and it's really exciting. Great work, guys and gals. Keep 'em coming!
Posted on: Where Children Come From
June 12, 2007 at 8:43 PMI've always had a special fondness of a child's inherent gullibility. They believe almost anything you tell them. (For about a day, I had my ex-step-daughter convinced that duck sauce was made from the actual ducks.) It's all in good fun until the child becomes legitimately distressed over the subject. Then it's time to let them off the hook and come clean. Just like the parents in this lesson. Good job, ChinesePod.

July 13, 2007 at 4:45 PMI haven't even had a chance to listen to this yet, but I had to stop and comment on the lesson intro above: "了 (le) is a many-splendored thing." That's pure gold right there. That just rocks. It's brilliant. Kudos to whomever wrote that. You win.
