February 16, 2012 at 8:27 PMJohn is ahead of his time - he cut the cord before he even had one. More and more Americans are doing this as $100/month cable becomes less of an option as the 经济 shrinks.
CNN, at least US CNN, dunno about International CNN, is getting worse as its ratings decline as well. 他们基本卖推持. 我可以自己看看推特! Some people call it:

February 13, 2012 at 9:17 PMThe rules aren't that different from European Chess (which actually originated from India I think.)
Most of the pieces are the same. The cannon needs to jump over a piece to take another. There's a river, certain pieces can't cross it. The king, er, general can't move out of the square, er, palace, neither can his advisors. There's no queen. I missing others, but that's the gist.
Wonder if they do speed chess?

January 31, 2012 at 9:19 PMI just want to address the Red Sox as the best baseball team in America (yeah, I realize it's the real estate agent's spiel.)
World Series Wins:
Red Sox: 7
New York Yankees: 27
'nuff said.
Fenway Park is an amazing ballpark though. One of my favorites.
And with the classical music in the background, don't forget Boston is home to The New England Conservatory of Music and Berklee College. Plus the home of the Boston Symphony, Symphony Hall, some consider it to have the best acoustics in the US.

Life Insurance
Childcare benefits/Msternity/Paternity leave
Tuition benefits
Discount on gym/health club membership
Flexible spending accounts - eyeglasses/contacts
There's like a 10-25 webpage form to fill out every year.
When you are self-employed, freelance, incorporated, LLC, you get the s*&t taxed out of you in many states.
Google and the like have odd benefits like free cafeteria, bring your dog to work, free transportation, free laundry, basically things to keep you at work.
One company I worked for lets you take a 6 month paid sabbatical if you've worked there for a certain number of years.
