January 8, 2008 at 9:09 AMHi ChangYe Minus 273 degrees C ! Wow, that's the temperature of liquid hydrogen and you would be a frozen stiff pillar that would break into thousands of pieces at the slightest touch. I suggest you have another look at your thermometer. And John, In my early days people who carried a sun sreen that resembled an umbrealla were known to carry a parasol. Is this word still in use or has it too gone out of vogue?

January 1, 2008 at 11:35 AMHello Changye, You left out Hottentot, Icelandic, Samoan and Maori and a few others. Never mind, I am still immensely impressed. You are lightyears ahead of me with language. So let me say " Een gelukkig nieuw jaar" to you, because that's the language I know (knew) best.

December 24, 2007 at 3:12 AMFather Christmas....ugh! For years I put my shoe out on Christmas eve with food for his reindeer, but the next morning it was there as I left it. No lollies or present...nothing! I much prefer the Chinese name of Christmas old fake... I mean old fellow. Anyway a happy X-mas to you all!!!

December 19, 2007 at 9:20 AMHi ChangYe, interesting to know that your dog complained about the exchange of the first letter in the last word of chittywangwang to make chittywangbang. I was tempted to do the same with the first and second word but refrained from doing so , as your dog as well as the whole CP community would have complained even more furiously.
