I did listen to Apartment Hunting, that one is more about being shown an apartment but does not go over $, availability, contract lengths, and the other stuff Amber talked about. I actually *need* to look for a new place because the one I live in now is far from everything. I will check "Negotiating Rent" this week. Thanks again!

We need a lesson that covers these topics, the peculiarities of going to one of those little real estate offices that are all over the place, give them one's requirements for an apt., length of contracts, availability, money upfront, and actually going to see it, which sometimes involves a *whole* lot of 走路 (walking).
