sballa,
I had the same problem before but now I just always listen to the "news and features" podcast, then you hear about whats coming up long before it actually starts.

January 18, 2009 at 10:46 AMSounds great! double ellie/no newbie experiment is a great idea, there are already so many newbie lessons and you can only do so much with such limited vocabulary.
And Poems with Pete is a GREAT idea! I cant wait until it comes out! 加油 pete!

As soon as you run out of votes you can reset allowing you to re-vote if you change your mind at anytime. When the things you voted on are accomplished you get those/that vote back and you can use it on something else.

January 15, 2009 at 11:23 AMI just found the perfect picture for this topic on my laptop. It's from when we went to get things for the wedding, This is the little shop that sells wedding candies, the boxes and more.

Haha, that's exactly what I did, (I regretted it after making about boxes 250 though...)

January 13, 2009 at 4:39 PMI have the perfect example to show everyone!
In this picture you can see on the middle of the table the 喜糖 (xi3tang2) that was given out at my very recent Chinese wedding! Mine were little boxes with chocolate in them that were put on all the plates before people arrived.
We must have looked at 100 different kinds of boxes and candies to choose from.

(my new avatar is also from the wedding ^_^)

You will be missed! I've really enjoyed your show so much, in fact it was one of the main reasons I started making comments in the community section. I've been listening to Dear Amber since the Show started and every one after that!
Thanks!!!
