January 6, 2011 at 3:03 AMWhen we recorded this podcast, it wasn't cold enough. It did snow in Shanghai but 雪很小很小. I just came back from a hiking in AnHui Province. It was snowing really heavilly there. Haha, i even rolled in the snow :D

You may see lots of names for "escalator" like 电动扶梯(diàn dòng fú tī), 扶手电梯(fú shǒu diàn tī), 电扶梯(diàn fú tī)... In my experience, 自动扶梯 (zì dòng fú tī) is the most commonly used one, in either speaking or writing.
