That's right. If you are asked to pick a girl up at the airport and you ask 她长得怎么样? It's like you are interested in how good looking this girl is. The other way we use to ask what people look like is 长什么样zhǎngshénmeyàng. Literally, it's 'grow what appearance'. The answers for 长得怎么样 and 长什么样 are the same though.

It can be even cheaper than 1000 RMB but there's no guarantee of safety...

A normal one costs around 2000 to 3000 i think.

Ah...

吵架(chǎo jià) and 争吵(zhēng chǎo) means to quarrel. 争 itself can be 'argue' or 'contend', even to fight for something physically.

In ancient China, 皇 and 帝 both mean emperor. People use them in different dynasties. One of the emperors in history put those two words together to make a more powerful word. And he called himself 始(shǐ, start)皇帝, which means the very first emperor. You may know his name--秦始皇qínshǐhuáng.

Hey Sarah, to me it's more like a neutral tone there. We often say it to people who are close to us. It's like saying 'what are you worrying about, you can tell me'
