February 8, 2008 at 10:47 PMhi Connie, is 按摩女 a good euphemism to use for 'prostitute'? I do voluntary work for an organisation (a kind of union) for prostitutes, and they want to write a small leaflet for girls working in 'massage salons'. we expect a lot of them are actually sex workers, but don't want to be too direct about it, as that might scare them away.. in other words, is 按摩女 an appropriate word to use in an informative leaflet about this organisation?
