April 16, 2009 at 5:52 PMHi [insert name],
I'd like to welcome you to ChinesePod. You are most welcome to join in our community discussions and help our users with their Chinese, and in turn you get to practice your English.
This site however, is not an advertisement board, and as such, I had to remove your email address from the comments.
Please observe our comments policy at the bottom of the page (of each comments section).
You are most welcome to help people out from within the community - Posts, Comments, Activity Stream etc. If you build up a rapport with fellow poddies, exchanging contact details is simply a natural progression.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Regards,
Matt Coleman

April 16, 2009 at 8:44 AMGetting up in the morning is the hardest part of the day. Once the transition from bed to shower has been made, all is well in my books. Saturday mornings are a little different...

April 16, 2009 at 8:15 AM@kdombros Happy to be of comfort. :-) I'd probably laugh at your kiwi accent too, but to be honest I think kiwiw accents are gorgeous. :-) Yay for ANZAC accents!

April 15, 2009 at 2:44 AM@bababardwan I haven't heard of mifen being served with horse meat, it wouldn't surprise me, although I think donkey would be more common(lǘròu 驴肉).

April 15, 2009 at 1:52 AMFor a Sichuan restaurant review (it was a negative review) - with pictures of the dishes, Chinese and English names of the dishes, check out my post from 2008 (in the name of food sharing - NOT shameless self promotion :p )

April 14, 2009 at 4:45 AMIt's true that these devices can cause accidents. When the systems/maps aren't regularly updated things like new traffic islands across small hilly intersections may not show up, causing some drivers who rely on the GPS to 发生事故 fāshēngshìgù (to have a traffic accident).
