@jimijames Thanks so much for your kind words. It has been a dream working for CPod, but life is a series of transitions - now if I could say THAT in Chinese I'd be happy. I saw a Chinese version of a Judge Judy type show - the settling of minor disputes in a TV courtroom. The people were all rather stone-faced, quite different from US TV court.

November 5, 2009 at 2:22 AM早日康复 zǎorìkāngfù is useful - I used to say 希望你恢复的很快 - lol, kinda clunky and I knew the Chinese would have a formulaic phrase for such a situation - now I know.

November 2, 2009 at 9:46 AM@Bodawei I normally tell them my address first, then say 来一桶10块钱的啊，谢谢 lái yìtǒng shíkuàiqián de a, xièxiè. The lady on the other end at our water place is so nice too. Then when the guy arrives, a simple 辛苦了 xīnkǔle and a smile suffices (followed by a 谢了啊 xièle a).

It will be multi level but the dialogues will all be AWESOME! But remember they wouldn't have been AWESOME without an AWESOME team!!! Stay tuned...
