Speaking of sweets, I'd like to mention that the best cake shop in Shanghai is Ruby 红宝石 hóngbǎoshí - they are an old chain that makes the tastiest sponge cakes in town. I had a lemon merangue at the 愚园路 Yùyuán Lù store last week and it was devine - the lemon part could have been improved but the merangue was excellent.

徐洲 is David's correct name: 洲 as in 亚洲的洲.

October 19, 2009 at 4:43 AM@pretzellogic I can understand how you feel, I'm not sure why the user Clarence's comments have been removed. A few possibilities:
1. 'Clarence' changed his/her username so their comments are there but their user name has changed.
2. The moderators at the time for some reason deleted Clarence's comments but did not delete the discussion caused by such comments
With regards to the second possibility, usually moderators try to nip problems in the bud before they explode into flame wars etc, and that includes comments that are replies to the original offending comment.
Not sure what really happened here and the moderators from that era are long gone.

I found these three terms for overalls/dungarees:
工人裤 gōngrénkù
工装 gōngzhuāng
工装裤 gōngzhuāngkù
工作服 gōngzuòfu
One-piece (clothing) - this is more difficult to describe:
(parachutist's) one-piece:
(跳伞人穿的)上下一体的衣服: (tiàosǎn rén chuān de) shàngxià yītǐ de yīfu
Female one-piece bathing suit:
女性穿的上下一体的泳衣: nǚxìng chuān de shàngxiè yītǐ yǒngyī
